Spring is just around the corner, which means it’s the season for bright colors, florals, and less layers. Nothing says spring like a girly floral dress! I’m loving this great floral A-line dress from Daily Look because there are so many ways I can wear it. I think it’s a cute look for a bridal shower, or any kind of shower really. You can even wear this dress to a brunch with your girlfriends, or a weekend lunch date with your special someone.
I added very feminine accessories to this look, but I could also put on a cropped leather jacket and create a rocker chic vibe. I could also put on a tailored blazer and take this look into a meeting. The options are truly endless! This style of dress will also work for any body type because it tapers at the waist and flares out to create an instant hourglass silhouette.
I love the shape of the skirt because of how it flares out, creating the illusion of flower petals at the bottom of the skirt. With the dress being such a feminine piece, the open back adds a sexy factor to such a cutesy look. An open back or an interesting hemline helps define your personal style, because those little details are what catches people’s eye and makes a simple piece stand out.
I paired this dress with minimal accessories because I wanted the dress to speak for itself. I wore a simple pearl Chanel necklace to complement the softness of the outfit, and some simple Chanel earrings for a little bit of sparkle. I wore my favorite nude sandals, which I’m sure you all recognize from many of my other outfit posts. A nude shoe is great to have in your closet because they can be worn in all seasons and they are simple enough to go well with almost any outfit.
I went with an oversized YSL handbag for more of a casual outing, but a simple clutch can make this look more evening appropriate. Photographer: Azusa Takano
