I’m super excited to be hosting a seminar with Urban Decay Cosmetics on April 19th from 6:30pm to 8:30pm at the Urban Decay flagship store at Fashion Island in Newport Beach. You can call and book a seat if you’d like to see me work my magic. As you may already know, Urban Decay is launching a fun summer collection, which I got to play with and review! Come have fun and spend the evening with me, while learning some tips and tricks, plus you will get to take home a special gift. Attendance is free, but you will need to purchase a $100 gift card that will go towards the goodies you purchase that day. To RSVP, call (949)644-6550 as seating is limited to only 25 guests.
This collection consists of the Afterglow 8-Hour Power blush and Revolution High-Color Glosses that I am loving so much right now! You can also find new summer products like the Ultimate Ozone Multipurpose Primer Pencil, and some revamped Eyeshadow Primer Potion. I was able to take a peek at some of the new products that will be available soon for you to achieve some gorgeous summer makeup looks. Summer lets you experiment with brighter hues and you can really play with feminine pinks and oranges to complement your summer glow from soaking up the sun!
For starters, there are 14 gorgeous shades of lip glosses that have the right amount of shine, without the stickiness of your typical gloss. Personally, I can’t stand a gloss that sticks! I’m sure you ladies all understand how frustrating it is to be walking outside, only to have a small gust of wind blow your hair all around, sticking to your lip gloss like glue!
The Urban Decay Revolution High-Color Lipglosses ($22) applies soft to the lip, and will leave your lips feeling creamy and hydrated. Often times, lipsticks and glosses can have our lips feeling a little bit dry over time. But even after wearing these glosses for a couple of hours, you still feel like your lips are moisturized. While you’ll have to apply a somewhat generous amount for some shades, the color is bright and substantial once you slide on a couple of coats. From light peach tones to luscious purples, there is a shade that will work with any skin tone.
Next is the Urban Decay Rapture Afterglow 8-Hour blush at $26 a cube. What’s great about these blushes is that they go on with a matte finish, so they are suitable for a variety of skin types. Apply as little or as much as you want, depending on the effect you’re going for, as they are super easy to blend as you build up the pigment. Some shades have just a hint of shimmer, but not to the point where you’ll feel like you’re speckled with glitter. Sometimes shimmer can sink into your pores or highlight a blemish, but you don’t have to worry about that with these blushes. You’ll find pinks, oranges, purples, and browns, all in a cute little compact package that’ll slip easily into your purse on your way out the door.
The eyeshadows go for $18 a pod in this collection, in a variety of warm shades. They are easy to blend into the eye, the pigments are sharp, and you’ll be satisfied with the color that comes through. Some shades are duo-chrome, which are fabulous for adding dimension to the eyes with the infusion of two different pigments. Other shades have a bit of shimmer, to add a tasteful pinch of sparkle to your eye. You can also find some natural, matte shades within the collection. There are definitely enough colors and textures to choose from.
I’d also like to let you guys in on another fantastic product with a great cause behind it; the Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primer Potion. This product helps keep your eye makeup fresh throughout a hectic day. If you find that your eyeshadow cakes up into your creases, or virtually disappears by the afternoon, an eyeshadow primer potion is a great addition to your makeup bag. Plus, when you purchase this product in Enigma, 100% of the proceeds are donated to The Ultraviolet Edge, an initiative that empowers women. Keep your eyeshadow on point AND support fellow women? How fabulous!
I hope to see you at the seminar!
