I’m so excited to share this fall makeup tutorial for today’s Five Minute Friday! This makeup look is different from the usual that I’ve done; I used a plum color instead of browns to create a soft, smokey eye perfect for the upcoming season. Plums and purples are great because it looks beautifully on all skin tones, so don’t be afraid to use those colors to accentuate your eyes. A fall makeup trend for 2015 is using bright pop-of-colors, so here’s your guide to being in trend!
For this look, I used Urban Decay’s newest VICE 4 palette which will be sold online on September 12th! The VICE 4 palette has new eyeshadows that has never been released, ranging from matte neutrals to shimmery brights; for this specific tutorial, I used Underhand which is a deep plum as the main lid color, Framed and Harlot for highlight and dimension respectively. Because my eyes are extremely colorful and the center of attention, I kept other parts of my face minimal.
If you would like an in-depth review of this brand new 2015 Vice palette, let me know in the comments section and I will start working on that ASAP. I did swatch a few of the colors, but I can included swatches of all the colors in a new post and share my thoughts about this new Urban Decay Palette.
