I’m back in Paris! There’s so much to explore in this beautiful city, and there are so many opportunities here, and so I jumped at the chance to come back to work and play in the city of lights. I want to share what I’ve been up to on my trip with you guys. In the first week I was shooting some amazing content for Clarins that will be up on their website in the near future. It’s been so much fun working with them and I’m excited to share with you what we came up with!
Of course we’ve had some time to explore and do some fun things while we’ve been here. The first hotel we stayed at was the Hotel Molitor, which was in a nice and quiet part of Paris. We were close to the shoot and experienced a different part of the city. The hotel has a Clarins spa which we totally took advantage of! KB and I both indulged in some amazing massages. There was also one of the biggest swimming pools (indoor and outdoor) I’ve ever seen, which is rare to see in a Parisian hotel.
During some downtime we took time to visit Montmartre, which I highly recommend if you’re ever in Paris. It’s a really cute town with lots of street artists and cafes. There’s also a beautiful church and spectacular views perched up on a hill right in the city. We spent a whole day there exploring, which is so easy to do.
After a few days the shoot was over and we wanted to move somewhere more central. We stayed at the Hotel Castille Paris in the Saint Honoré neighborhood. We loved the location! All around us were pretty little shops and restaurants. The hotel was right next to the original Chanel house so we got a lovely view of the Chanel workspace from our room!
Over the weekend we took the time to explore more areas and I wanted to share my favorites with you in case you’re ever in Paris. We loved the Grand Palais, which is a breathtaking monument with lots to see inside its courtyard and gardens. We also indulged in some delicious coffee and sweets at Cafe Kitsune in the Jardin Des Tuileries which you probably saw if you’re following me on Instagram. And of course, what’s a trip to Paris without some shopping? This time around, we explored the Galleria Lafayette and Printemps not including all the little shops all over the city!
Lastly, we’ve checked into a glamorous hotel called the Hotel Plaza Athenee, and we’re looking forward to working with YSL beauty on a couple of projects. I’m excited to share the next part of my trip with you guys very soon! Until then, I’m off to Laduree for some macarons (are you surprised?)…
