I’m back in Los Angeles! New York Fashion Week was incredible and it was so amazing to see so many other bloggers there. This was a great opportunity to try out lots of new creative outfits, so I thought I’d share my favorites with you in a New York Fashion Week Recap! (If you missed my first outfit post from NYFW, see it here!) Since it was so hot and humid in New York, I wore lots of cute dresses to keep cool while still looking chic and ready for lots of shows and events. If you’ve been following me on Snapchat and Instagram, you may have seen a glimpse of these outfits, but I loved each of them so much that I wanted to do a whole post on them!
A few days ago I wore this gorgeous dress from Free People. I was head over heels for the luxe suede and relaxed silhouette! I wore a cute lace bralette under the dress and let it peek out just a bit. Since this dress was such a rich red, I decided to keep the rest of my outfit neutral. I paired the dress with my favorite Dolce Vita sneakers. Sneakers were everywhere at fashion week and I seriously could not have been more on board with the trend! We did lots of walking, so they were absolutely essential!
For this look, since it was so hot, I put my hair in a topknot and stuck with a simple makeup look. Of course I had to add on a few of my favorite accessories to finish off the outfit! I carried my classic black quilted Chanel purse and wore a silver watch. I don’t wear a watch all the time, but it was essential for getting to all of our events on time and it added just the perfect amount of sparkle! I finished this look with my round Ray-Ban sunnies.
As I’m sure you guys have noticed, I’m totally into the recent 90’s trend, so for my next look, I layered a nice silk slip dress over a basic white tee. (I actually wore the same dress while in Hawaii, you can see it here!)
My red bag and shoes are what make this look! These shoes are such a statement—I love the lace up detail and the gorgeous black suede! This bag is honestly one of my favorites. It’s classic structure and unique color add a unique twist to my relaxed slip dress and tee combo! To complete my look, I wore my usual mix of dainty gold bracelets and rings and layered a few simple, cute chokers. I wore this look from day to night so I loved the mix of casual and glam pieces!
My final fashion week look was this amazing black dress. I love how this look is effortless but with just enough polish! I wore this outfit while working on a project with my friends Marianna Hewitt and Chloe Morello. Unfortunately we didn’t have time to shoot this outfit by itself, but thankfully KB snapped photos from the side, which I love!
I hope you enjoyed my New York Fashion Week recap! Which look was your favorite? Let me know in the comments!
