Hey loves! Today I’m sharing my favorite new products of the month in a series called Sona Selects! Each month, I’ll have a blog post on my favorite new beauty products. All you beauty lovers from YouTube might remember that I did monthly beauty favorites on my channel, but now they’ll be here on the blog! This roundup will feature new releases and upcoming launches that I love, and I hope you guys will too! This month had a lot of great new products, I can definitely see myself adding these to my routine!
1. Jouer Powder Highlighter ($24)
I love a good highlighter, and this one is absolutely amazing! The formula is super pigmented and gives the perfect velvet glow. I have it in all three colors, but my favorite is Citrine. It’s so good that it’s sold out in every shade right now, but keep checking back here since they should restock soon!
2. Anastasia Beverly Hills Stick Foundation ($25)
This stick foundation is perfect for contouring. I really like the matte finish, and the packaging makes it super convenient and easy to use. This product is really great for those of you with oily or combination skin!
3. Lancôme Teint Idole Ultra Cushion ($47)
Teint Idole Ultra Cushion is a new cushion foundation from Lancôme. It goes on really smoothly and has a nice velvety finish. This foundation has a buildable medium coverage. Cushion foundation is a newer trend, and Teint Idole Ultra Cushion is the way to go! If you want to see the foundation in action, check out my Fall Makeup Tutorial to see a mini review, plus how to use it!
4. Tarte Sculpted Cheeks Deluxe Amazonian Clay Blush Set ($35)
If you guys have been following me for a while, you know that I love these Amazonian clay blushes from Tarte! This set is part of the new Holiday 2016 Collection. The packaging is adorable and I absolutely love the blushes! The colors are amazing and the matte finish is perfect for creating a nice rosy glow.
5. Becca Multitasking Perfecting Powder ($34)
This Becca Multitasking Perfecting Powder is such a great multi-use product! You can use it as a light foundation, or on days when you need extra coverage, you can use it as a setting powder. It has a smooth, blendable texture and the compact makes it easy to take on the go. It also has lots of antioxidants, like vitamin A, B, C and E so it’s great for your skin!
6. Tarte Double Duty Beauty Shape Tape Contour Concealer ($24)
This Tarte Double Duty Shape Tape Contour Concealer is absolutely amazing for contouring and it works as a traditional concealer, too! The Amazonian clay formula completely covers up any imperfections. Since there are so many shades to chose from, you can get the perfect match for your skin, whether you are concealing or contouring.
7. Lancôme Grandiôse Liquid Liner ($32)
Not only is the Lancôme Grandiôse Liquid Liner formula and pigmentation incredible, but the ball joint applicator is revolutionary. The felt tip bends to leave a thick or thin line—a perfect cat eye has never been easier! Seriously, I don’t think I’ve ever been able to do my eyeliner this smoothly!
8. Tarte Curl Boss Lash Essentials ($20)
The Tarte Curl Boss set comes with a travel size Tarteist Lash Paint Mascara and an eyelash curler. The eyelash curler is so cute and it curls my lashes really well! It really picks up every lash so that my eyes look wide and awake. Trust me, I’ve tried every lash curler out there and this one is the best! I was excited to see this new Holiday edition, it will make such a cute gift!
9. Marc Jacobs Beauty Velvet Noir Major Volume Mascara ($26)
Okay, so this one isn’t quite new, but it’s one of my favorite mascaras ever! It’s so dark and it picks up every lash with the hourglass shaped brush. My lashes look so long and lush after just two coats, but I think the best part about Marc Jacobs Beauty Velvet Noir is how volumizing it is!
10. The BrowGal Second Chance ($95)
I was introduced to this product by Tonya Crooks, who shapes my brows. This brow enhancing serum is her own formula and it’s one the the best brow products I’ve ever used! It’s a serum with a brush that has three vibrating speeds to help your brows to grow. My eyebrows were a bit sparse so I started using The BrowGal Second Chance serum every night. Of course this product works differently for everyone, but my brows looked noticeably thicker within three weeks!
11. YSL Vinyl Cream Lip Stain ($36)
I featured the YSL Vinyl Cream at my recent LA meet up. The lightweight formula creates a gorgeous stain that really lasts all day long. This is is great liquid lipstick if you’re on the go, since it’s long lasting and is really creamy and comfortable to wear. (I’ll be posting more of my favorite lipsticks for fall in a new post up soon!)
I hope you guys enjoyed the September Edition of Sona Selects! What product is your favorite? Let me know in the comments!
