These past few weeks have been a whirlwind! We’ve just moved into our new office and started shipping out the Identity Palette, so I feel like I’ve barely had time to prep for the holidays. But even though we’re crazy busy, I’ve made time to plan out a few holiday outfits. I love how this season gives you the opportunity to pull out all the stops when it comes to your look. Especially in LA, which tends to be a bit more casual than the East Coast, I take every opportunity I can get to wear a showstopping dress and heels! I can’t wait to wear this holiday outfit to the next festive get-together.
When it comes to standout dresses, this menswear-inspired dress from Revolve is my go-to piece of the season! I love the contrast between the structured blazer top and the flowing, feminine skirt. This dress is definitely sexy, with a low cut and a high slit, which I love against a menswear vibe. Since it’s a wrap dress, you can adjust it to fit or go for a looser, more oversized look. I decided to go full glam for this outfit, but you could definitely wear this dress undone as a lightweight coat, with a sweater, jeans, and boots.
I paired my dress with my Stuart Weitzman strappy nude sandals (they seriously go with everything!) and some sparkly accessories. I love how these extra-feminine pieces look with the dress! I layered some dainty gold necklaces with a crystal studded choker from Baublebar, which looks amazing with the low-cut neckline! This look calls for a polished clutch, so I carried my Edie Parker “Dream” clutch (similar here). Heels are essential with a holiday outfit, and especially since the dress is so dramatic, and I don’t want it to completely take over. These heels give me a bit more height and the nude color totally lengthens my legs! (You can find a more affordable version here)
To finish off my holiday outfit, I went for a shimmery, festive makeup look. You can see the full tutorial up on my YouTube channel here! But just to sum up, I did a cat eye using my Persona Cosmetics Identity Palette and a bold red lip with the new L’Oreal Infallible Lip Paint. I normally go for either bold eyes or bold lips, but for this look I decided to get totally glammed up and I love how it turned out!
