As you’ve probably seen on Snapchat and Instagram, I just got back from an amazing vacation to the Caribbean with Pür Cosmetics! Last year, we went to Cabo with them (you can read about it here!), but this year, the team definitely outdid themselves with this trip to the Caribbean! I felt like this vacation was the perfect way to start the year, with the opportunity to refocus and just relax and enjoy the gorgeous islands. I’ve never been to the Caribbean before, and I have to say that if I get the chance to go again, I would in a heartbeat!
On the way there, our flight got delayed from LAX, but luckily, we were able to get the last flight out to St. Martin! Once we arrived there, we took a ferry to Anguilla. The boat ride over was actually really fun, we used a ferry service called Calypso, which got us to Anguilla in about twenty five minutes (and served us drinks!) Unfortunately, a lot of our group missed the connecting flight to the island, so we hung out while waiting for them to arrive. We got massages overlooking the ocean at the Four Seasons, where we were staying-—if that’s not the perfect way to start a vacation, I’m not sure what is! Once everyone on the Pür trip arrived, we all got dinner and got a chance to catch up and meet everyone.
On Sunday, Pür planned a day for us on St. Martin. We rode over on the ferry and rented “rhino boats,” little two-man dinghies that we took around the island. We raced and got to see all the super yachts that were docked around St. Martin’s. In the middle of our exploring, it started raining, which only added to the adventure! It was so cool to be able to see the island from the rhino boats, we even stopped at a cove where we swam and hung out for a while. When we arrived back at our hotel later, Pür had planned a Masquerade dinner and party!
The next day, we went to St. Barth’s. Though I really enjoyed it once we got there, it was a pretty rough ferry ride! The ride took about an hour, but the water was super choppy and we were going against the current. If you get seasick easily, I would recommend looking into flights to St. Barth’s! But once we got there, the island was gorgeous. It reminded me a lot of the South of France (St. Barth’s is a French territory) and the town on the island had a distinct European vibe. Pür rented us all Mini Coopers and gave us a map with points of interest, so we got to drive all around St. Barth’s and check out all the shops and restaurants. We ended up at Nikki Beach, which is a day club and restaurant right on the beach, where we stayed for a few hours. We all ended up taking a chartered flight back, since everyone got so seasick on the way over!
For our last full day in the Caribbean, we stayed on Anguilla and did a water obstacle course that was set up just offshore. I wish I had been able to capture some of it on Snapchat! We spent the day on the beach, enjoying our last day and hanging out. At night Pür hosted a white party on the beach, which was so much fun! Of course, we ended the night with live music and dancing! (You might have caught it all on Snapchat and Insta Stories!)
It was such a fun trip, I loved being able to hang out friends and meet new ones in such a beautiful place!

How to Pack
Lots and lots of bathing suits! I wore lots of cute sun dresses, rompers (I got lots of them from an Austrailian brand, Kookai!) and beach coverups or shorts and a cute shirt. I spent most of my time wearing sandals but would recommend bringing sneakers for walking around and exploring. Plan on bringing one dressed up outfit in case you go to a nicer dinner in one of the towns or at your hotel!
