We’re well into spring and summer is just around the corner! Even though colder winter and fall temperatures allow for lots of unique layered outfits, there’s just something about the ease of dressing in warmer months! I have a few go-to outfit combinations that I always come back to, but one of my favorite spring styles is a romper (or dress!) plus a cute pair of shoes and some accessories. It’s as easy as that!
As you all saw in my recent post, I went to Coachella a few weekends ago. When we weren’t at the festival, KB and I were able to spend some time exploring the beautiful neighborhoods in the area and snapped a few photos of my outfit!
I started with this amazing striped romper by Tularosa and my new red heels from Saint Laurent. I love how this pop of color against an otherwise muted color scheme adds a bit of interest to my look! Rompers have all the breeziness of a dress, but feel slightly more functional. However, I do love how this one has a cute ruffled hem that contrasts wonderfully with stripes!
To take this spring look to the next level, I piled on tons of accessories! (As I mentioned earlier, more is more!) I wore my favorite stack of gold cuffs by David Smallcombe (similar here), then added lots of other fun bracelets. I also layered a long pendant necklace with a dainty gold choker and stacked rings. Don’t be afraid to match silver and gold jewelry for a unique effect! Since we were walking around and would be heading to the festival later, I carried one of my favorite quilted Chanel crossbody bags. I finished the look with a straw boater hat that will be in heavy rotation all the way into summer!
To me, the perfect spring outfit is effortless and functional, with just the right amount of accessories to make a statement! What’s your warm weather uniform?
