This past month I found so many new holy grail products that I haven’t been able to stop using! I can’t stop raving about these products and with how much I’ve been talking about them on the blog and my channel, it’s no surprise that they’re my favorite! In addition to beauty, I also have a few fashion favorites which I’ve decided to include in this month’s edition of Sona Selects. If you’re a new reader to the blog, Sona Selects is a collection of the best beauty (and now fashion) products I’ve used in the past month. I also have a series on my channel to go along with this post, so be sure to check out the video below.
1. Erborian CC Cream Hd Radiance Skin Perfector ($44)
If you’re subscribed to my channel, you’d know that I tried out the Erborian CC Cream for a video this past month, and I’ve been obsessed since! This product only comes in two shades (I have it in regular), but it has color matching pigments that adjust to your perfect shade, so it works for a variety of skin tones. When I first saw that there were only two shades I was super skeptical, but the CC Cream really does adapt to your skin color! I also have dry skin, so a hydrating product like this is perfect for everyday wear. I seriously can’t stop using this CC cream, it’s definitely my favorite face product right now!
2. Too Faced Born This Way Naturally Radiant Concealer ($28)
The Too Faced Born This Way Naturally Radiant Concealer has been my absolute favorite concealer for the month of September! It’s infused with coconut water, which is so hydrating on my dry skin (I have the shade light medium). Finding a concealer that has good coverage but isn’t too drying for my under eyes can be tricky, but this concealer has a natural finish and makes my skin look healthy and dewy! I haven’t had any problems with it creasing and it’s seriously so comfortable under the eyes for all day wear.
3. La Mer Sheer Pressed Powder ($95)
Recently I went to an event at the La Mer house in Beverly Hills where I got to learn all about this new product and sit in on a master class with celebrity makeup artists Patrick Ta and Mary Phillips. It was such an amazing experience. You guys know how much I love the La Mer Loose Translucent Powder, so I had super high hopes for this product. It’s exceeded my expectations and I’ve used it everyday since I first tried it! I love that it’s compact, because it makes it so much easier to carry in my bag and take on the go. It’s also infused with raw ocean clay and La Mer’s Miracle Broth which work like magic, and totally blur any imperfections. This pressed powder is so amazing and leaves the skin looking smooth and flawless. This powder has definitely become a holy grail product in my collection.
4. Lancome Monsieur Big Mascara ($25)
This Lancome Monsieur Big Mascara really changed the game for me! It makes my natural lashes look like falsies, it’s absolutely unreal! This mascara provides so much volume and length to your lashes, and it doesn’t flake after a long day. It really makes your eyes look bold and stand out! The formula doesn’t clump even when you apply multiple layers. This is seriously such a great mascara!
5. Bobbi Brown Extra Lip Tint ($34)
The Bobbi Brown Extra Lip Tint is perfect if you’re looking for a hydrating balm with a sheer tint. I have the shade Bare Pink, and I am seriously obsessed with it! It adds just enough color to the lips when I’m not in the mood to deal with wearing lipstick. However, sometimes when I am wearing lipstick, I will apply it over top to add shine. I cannot say enough good things about this product, and since I started using it it’s become my absolute favorite lip balm!
6. Dior Miss Dior Perfume ($94)
Typically, when I think about Fall scents my mind doesn’t wander to florals, but the Dior Miss Dior Perfume is definitely an exception. It has a warm, floral smell that I think suits any time of year. It’s such a romantic fragrance made up of bergamot, Grasse rose, and rosewood that’s definitely light enough for everyday wear. I literally haven’t touched any other perfume this month, it smells so amazing!
7. Gucci GG Marmont Bag ($1,790)
This handbag is one from my collection that I haven’t stopped wearing this month! It’s such a cute addition to any outfit and is the perfect size to carry around on a daily basis. I have it in black, so it matches basically all of my clothes! This handbag looks so classic and is an easy way to dress up any casual outfit. I’ve linked a few affordable dupes below if you’re wanting the same look without having to spend a ton!
I hope you guys enjoyed September’s edition of Sona Selects. Make sure to watch the video on my channel. Leave a comment below letting me know if you’d like me to continue including my monthly fashion favorites!
