Who doesn’t love a good dupe? I know I sure do! I love when I discover affordable options for high end beauty products that I can then recommend to you guys. Today I wanted to put some popular Pinterest dupes to the test to see if they truly are good replacements for some of the makeup in my collection. To see if the Pinterest dupes held up to the hype, I did my makeup using the affordable drugstore options on one side of my face and the more expensive high end makeup on the other. To find out if these dupes worked, check out the video below.
If there are any dupes that you’d like me to try in a future video or if you want to share some of your favorite makeup dupes, please leave me a comment below.

I definitely love this!! Thanks Sona. ❤ x
Thanks for taking the time and combining love with devotion to show us if they paid off. x
What a great idea sona, I love this!
Wow! This is a great post! So much work girl! Love your videos and snapchat. #SnapchatFam <3
Came right over from snapchat as soon as I heard you say there was a chart!! I loved the video, but I love it even more now that there is a chart to compliment it! I’ve been really loving the blog lately! I would love to see a blog post or a video all about bold lips and how to find the right colors for your skin tone and occasion. #SNAPCHATFAM
I used to always use the Rimmel Bronzer but then I got Nars Casino – its so good for darker skin tones! I think the rimmel one is more orange-y and the nars one is more brown-y.
This was a good video because I’m a teenager and so I’ve been looking for cheaper options (haha more like forced by mom!). But maybe you should show how it wears through the day in the next one because I feel like that’s where drugstore brands fall down. Anyways really good video and I love your new blog posts – they have such a good layout and its so easy to read!!! <3 <3
Sona!! Oh my god your YouTube, snap chat and blog is simply the best!! (See what I did there)
Loving your latest videos you’ve been posting in the past month. Thanks for doing this video/post as well.
The Nars Turkish delight lipgloss I have never heard of so I am so happy you used it and I’m for sure buying it tomorrow.
Much love
I love videos like these. It saves me a lot of money! Thanks Sona?
Love this!!
I’ve been swapping my Sephora purchases for some good ol’ drugstore ones –though some things can’t be ‘duped’ as you so beautifully demonstrate. However, I’m a bit surprised to see the Milani-Luminoso Blush, I though it was considered the holy grail of drugstore blushes. Are there any others you recommend? I currently use a Clinique blush on top of the Laura Mercier bronzer (which will be replaced with the Rimmel you suggest).
p.s. I have oily prone skin with dry patches thanks to meds and chemo –makeup is my bff.

which shade of the Rimmel Bronzer Sona, buff beige, bronze, sun bronze, sunlight?
thanks,
Love this! Thanks for posting.
Love you Sona!?Such a great post and great chart! I love charts?!!love from romania??#Snapchatfam♥️
I love the Charts! They definitely make things more fun… I think when testing out products it would be great to see a few check ins at the end of the video to see how the products lasted through the day maybe?
The side by side comparisons are very helpful. Absolutely loved this blog post?
Thanks sona…u such did a great job for making that type ov chart????.really great job .i always love to watch ur vedeoz and blogs caz they were very helpful..
Hey sona! I am a really big fan of your makeup. Please can you review physician’s formula butter bronzer for me? I really wanna know if it’s worth the price of 14$ and as good as hoola bronzer.
Also I absolutely love loreal voluminous false fiber mascara,it’s equivalent to they are real mascara by benefit ?
Will give some a try! Like the foundation and mascara? ?
Hi Sona, kisses and hugs from ARMENIA!!! ?????
Thanks for this amazing post and the viedo. Loved both! And it’s actually something i was looking forward to and your take on all of this products is definitely very interesting.
Thank you so much for taking the time to show us the comparison of both. It’s nice to know that there are cheaper mu products that work as great as the high end ones, so it doesn’t break the bank.
Anyways, can you please write something about foundations/tinted moisturizers and primers that are water based and silicone based? Wayne Goss mentioned about the importance of which if you want to make it last or not cakey. I would appreciate it much and I strongly think it is a very informative and relative blog to write about. Much love..??
What shade was that rimmel bronzer?

Thank you for this ! love the chart!! Wishing you tons of more success :)
Hi Sona,
Just wondered what shade of Rimmel bronzer this is? Thanks!!
Hi Sona.
I saw that the elf highlighter was rejected as a dupe for the mary-lou minizer, and I wondered that maybe you didnt know that ; when you buy the elf highlighter you have to scratch the first layer off, and underneath the first layer the good pigment is there. I did this and I am absoloutely obsessed with it! :)
Love this. I’ve used the W7 palette though, great colours but started to react allergic to it after about a week into using it. Switched to urban decay because of it. Due to allergic irritations I’m bound to a lot of trial and error and established a quite balanced mix of brands and no names. Your blog backs up my personal experience, expensive isn’t always better (I’ve had some pretty crappy results) but neither is cheap. You have to try what works for you and your skin.
