You guys know I love a good challenge! I recently teamed up with Laura Mercier + Byrdie for a Mystery Makeup Look Lottery with fellow beauty YouTubers Deepica Mutyala and Melissa Alatorre. It was so cool to work with them and with such prestigious brands! I read Byrdie almost everyday, and if you keep up with me on YouTube, you know that I love Laura Mercier products! I’m so lucky to collaborate with my favorite brands and share the final product with you guys here on the blog! This is the second of four videos I’ve worked on in partnership with Laura Mercier + Byrdie, you can see the first here! (It’s a gorgeous romantic look that celeb makeup artist Jenn Streicher created for me!)
For the challenge, Deepica, Melissa, and I were given a mystery beauty look to create with Laura Mercier products. We raced against the clock to create each look in under a minute! I created a Golden Goddess look. I loved how easy this look was to create, and it only took a few essential products that I usually have in my makeup bag! I’d wear this simple, pretty look out to lunch with friends or to a daytime event.
To achieve this look, I used Laura Mercier’s Blemish-Less Foundation Primer followed by Illuminating Tinted Moisturizer in Natural. I blended both using my fingers to apply to product all over my face. Next, I used Secret Camouflage and Secret Concealer under my eyes to cover up any imperfections. Laura Mercier’s Face Illuminator in Addiction gave the final touch of glow to my face on my cheekbones, nose, and cupid’s bow.
For my eyes, I used Laura Mercier’s Caviar Stick Eye Colors. First, I applied ‘Copper’ all across my lid and blended. I used ‘Cocoa’ on the outer corners of my eyes and lower lash line for more dimension. I finished with the Face Illuminator on my brow bone and the inner corners of my eyes.
For my lips, I used a swipe of Laura Mercier’s Lip Parfait in Cinn-ful and patted a little more Illuminator on my lips for a last little bit of shimmer!
