Bridal makeup has always been my favorite! I’ve talked about this on the blog before, but when I was first starting my career in makeup, I was a bridal makeup artist! It’s so amazing to make someone look and feel beautiful on their special day. Recently, I filmed a video with one of my fellow beauty YouTubers, Karen (Check out her channel iluvsarahii, she’s so talented!) where she did a gorgeous bridal makeup look on me, using the Persona Cosmetics Identity Palette! You can check out the full video here and embedded below, but I wanted to share a step by step eye makeup tutorial for you here on the blog!
Bridal Makeup Tutorial
Step 1: Prime eyelids using Urban Decay’s Primer Potion in Eden to brighten eyes.
Step 2: Using the Identity Palette, mix Humble and Audacious and use as a transition color along outer corners and crease.
Step 3: Deepen crease with Audacious.
Step 4: Apply Charming and Maverick on the lash line and blend.
Step 5: Apply fearless on upper lash line using an angles brush.
Step 6: Use Seductive on the center of the lid.
Step 7: Coat lashes with mascara (we used the Marc Jacobs Velvet Noir Mascara) For optional false lashes, apply individual lashes and layer for more drama!
Step 9: Go back in with Audacious under lash line and Sassy on the inner corners.
Step 10: Line lower lashes with a brown pencil (we used MAC Kohl Liner in Coasta Riche, and add another coat of mascara on the lower lashes Pro-Tip: Hold mascara spoolie vertically to coat each lash!

Loved the video you two filmed ? Thanks for adding this step by step, love that I have a guide to recreate this amazing look! In your 5min challenge video you mention that you haven’t found a good drugstore brow product, I’ve heard that Elf cosmetics is a pretty good one.
This makeup is so beautiful! Karen is really talented, I love her. I love watching bridal makeup tutorials, even though I’m not getting married in the near future. But last year I did my sister’s bridal makeup and had so much fun :) Btw, your blouse is gorgeous :)

I absolutely loved it! My favorite part was the eyeshadow and lashes, they were so flirty and feminine! I’ve also wanted to try out the hourglass foundation and the hello flawless powder from benefit for a long time! You looked stunning, and Karen is so talented!
I had so much fun watching this video. Your expression when she said: the foundation is a little bit too dark ^^. Thank you for this post, it makes it a little bit easier to recreate this look.
Lots of love xxx
Beautiful!
Stunning. ?❤️❤️❤️
I think bridal will look fabulous in this look. ❤️ I’m going to share this with my friend as she is going to a bride next month. :)
looks great ?? ?
So beautiful and a timeless look!
I love this makeup !! You are so pretty Sona xoxo
This is gorgeous bridal make up. I love how it is simple, only enhancing the beauty and that is what I think a bridal make up should be : glowy and not overdone. You look beautiful. Love from France
This makeup looks beautiful. But, you did a pinkish, light looking makeup look a couple of years ago. I thought that one was better, since it had lighter and softer looking effect. I think this one is more suitable for a special occasion look other than wedding. Still definetely beautiful :)
SO Beautiful!!! I will use this look for a date night sometime- or maybe as a guest to an upcoming wedding. LOVE how she used your palate Sona. Love you! xoxo
Love, love, love this look!! I have alot of the same coloring features as Sona and would love to try this look!

Such a pretty, beautiful look for a bride! Have you heard of Lipsense long-lasting lip color? I had a bride who insisted on a MAC color. She wore it the day of her portraits but forgot it at home. She was devastated when 30 minutes into her session, she had NO lip color. So we color matched her MAC color. When I saw he at 8pm the night if her wedding (which had been at 10am), she hugged me and said “This is the best stuff ever! I’ve had it on since this morning and look!! It’s still perfect.” Nothing could have made me happier for her at that moment. It was one thing she didn’t have to worry about in her wedding day. The color stays on up to 18 hours. It’s AMAZING!! If you haven’t heard of it, let me know. I’d love for you to try it.
