Lately, I’ve been getting tons of questions about what vitamins and supplements I take on a regular basis. If you’re part of my snapchat family (Username: simply_sona) you know I struggled with my health for a long time… I used to get sick all the time and I went to many different doctors to figure out what was wrong. I finally discovered that I had some major vitamin deficiencies, such as low Iron, Vitamin D, liver issues and more. I was on IV drip treatments to try and clean my system and have been taking these vitamins regularly to build my immune system and better my health. I also used to suffer from bad allergies and took Zyrtec everyday before I started this routine. But since beginning this regimen, I haven’t taken allergy pills in months! On another note, KB and I actually just watched ‘What The Health,’ a documentary on Netflix and since then we’ve really been trying to keep up with our health. I thought it would be helpful to share my daily vitamin routine with you all. These supplements have helped boost my energy and overall immune health. I also have had tons of questions about my hair because it’s grown so fast, and I truly believe it’s because of these vitamins! I’ve seen such a positive change in my skin, body, and hair health in the past few months from this routine. Please keep in mind that I am not a doctor or dietary professional, this is just what works for my body. You should consult with your doctor before starting a vitamin regimen to find out what will work best for you.
1. Mitocore Dietary Supplement
This is the vitamin of all vitamins. This dietary supplement helps to boost your cell production so that any other vitamins you take work a lot better. It contains Acetyl L-Carnitine which helps boost energy, N-Acetyl Cysteine which helps your liver function properly, and green tea and broccoli seed extract which according to WebMD, are natural fat burners, lower cholesterol, and have tons of antioxidants! This vitamin is a powerhouse and I’ve definitely noticed a difference since taking it. Go to this page to find more options on supplements recommended by experts.
2. Integrative Therapeutics Energizing Iron
Iron is such an important part of your health. It regulates the oxygen in your blood which helps your concentration and helps boost your energy! I bet you didn’t know that having an iron deficiency is actually one of the most common deficiencies in the world, according to IronDeficiency.com. Women in particular have a way higher risk of deficiency because iron is released from your body every month when you get your period. An iron deficiency can cause you to feel weak, dizzy, and even get headaches. I can’t stress how important it is to make sure your body is getting the proper amount of nutrients, especially iron!
3. UltraFlora Balance Daily Probiotic Support for Gastrointestinal & Immune Health
This supplement is great if you happen to have any stomach problems. The UltraFlora Balance Daily Probiotic has a blend of B. lactis Bi-07 and L. acidophilus NCFM which help your intestines have a healthy balance of bacteria. It will definitely help you have less stomach aches if your body tends to be more sensitive. This supplement gives you the daily support that everyone needs for your overall immune health!
4. Ortho Molecular Products Vitamin K2 with D3
We’ve all heard that getting Vitamin D is so important to your health. If you don’t know why, it’s because it helps absorb calcium and promotes bone growth! Another thing you may not know is that Vitamin K actually guides calcium straight to your bones instead of being absorbed into your organs, joint spaces and arteries. This supplement is packed with both Vitamin K2 and D3 which help promote bone and heart health! It also helps keep your blood sugar balanced and is another supplement that also supports immune health. With taking all of these vitamins daily, it’s no mystery to why I haven’t gotten sick!
5. Essential Mineral Supplement
Essential mineral supplements are no joke, they’re literally liquified minerals! There are so many minerals that are great for your health like Zinc, Iron, and Calcium that you should be getting daily. Having an essential mineral supplement with naturally occurring minerals that come from plants is so beneficial for your body, skin, and hair health. The minerals in these types of supplements help with keeping your organs, bones, and immune system healthy and functioning properly. Most of them have 60 or more minerals packed in them and I know that’s why my hair has been growing so quickly! I’ve linked below a few different options (with different flavors) so that you can find the right one for you.
6. Lypo-Spheric Vitamin C and Glutathione
These aren’t supplements that I take everyday, but when I’m feeling like I’m getting sick or have inflammation, these Lypo-Spheric packets are amazing! Vitamin C is such a powerful antioxidant and when I need an extra boost it’s the perfect addition to my routine. Glutathione is also another powerful antioxidant that really helps with detoxifying your body and getting rid of inflammation. I typically will take these in the morning on an empty stomach and mix them with orange juice so that it’s easy and tastes delicious!
I hope you guys enjoyed this post all about the vitamins I have been taking and found it helpful! Again, I am not a doctor or health professional this is just what I use, you should definitely speak with your doctor to find out what will work best for you. What vitamins do you take daily?

I have low iron too and I get iron supplements since I remember myself!
Thank you for this very informative multivitamins post! I struggle with lack of energy but I blame it mostly on working nightshift ?. I only take daily multivitamin and Vit B12. I was taking biotin for my hair since it’s super fine but it was making my nails more brittle. I know, weird, should be making my nails stronger. Maybe I was taking higher dosage than I should. I’ve always wanted to try the vitamin drip, maybe before or after my trip next month. Glad to hear you’re feeling better after taking this vitamin routine. #24hrclub #snapfam #instafam
The vitamin drip really helped me. Thank you so much love!
Very interesting! My daughter is starting her 2nd year in college and is always getting sick and always getting strep throat. I feel like her immune system is low. She barely moved into her dorm and got sick that night. I too watched “What the Health” and was shocked. I personally want to go more plant based and phase out the meat, but old habits can be hard to break, so slowly. Great post Sona! Snapchatfam
The right vitamins would definitely help! I hope your daughter feels better! xo
Omg, you take so many!! I knew about your problem because i’ve been following you for years now. I never imagine, we need so mane, and for mane different things! I actually don’t take any. But I going to my doctor to get some, to see which ones I need the most!

Hi Sona! One little comment. I am suscribed to your blog (I received the confirmation email) but I never receive any email from you, updating on posts or anything. Is not in spam either. Is it normal?
Sona what a great and informative post. When you were sick and getting those drips you definitely were low energy and it’s like so nice to see all your energy and stuff back on social media and Snapchat. Like you can tell the difference it’s like you are back to your old self ?#snapchatfam
I feel so much better!
This is very helpful. Thank you Sona for sharing. #snapchatfam
That was so interesting, I don’t take any vitamins but it was nice to learn about some of them. I take magnesium, as I struggle with my sleep, but I don’t know if that count as a vitamin… My cousin is studying medicine and she told me as women magnesium works wonders for us.
Love you! #snapchatfam

I’ve never tried magnesium, that’s so interesting!
Thanks for all this info. I’m 27 and have just started looking into taking vitamins daily. I’ve started just with vitamin C bc I get sick all the time with colds and such. This was very helpful.
I think if you’re 25, talk to a doctor and don’t be scared to start taking vitamins. It’s never too early and some of us need the extra help. Thanks for the post xxxx

Isn’t it crazy how fast my hair grew?
Omg I can relate to nunber 2. Integrative Therapeutics Energizing Iron. I am always feeling dizzy, i get major headaches and deep down I neee it would be because of lack of iron and I remember my doctor telling me once to take some iron pills and I dont get dizzy or get headaches when I eat veggies that are high in iron. I think this post was an eye opener because I need to get my dizzyness under control again. Greaf post Sona.
#24HrClub
Iron would definitely help! It makes me feel so energized.

I’m definitely going to try some of these products. I have low vitamins deficiency and I always have to take the 1000mg vitamin D. This is a great review and the fact that you tell us about your struggles helped a lot because you are a reliable accurate source. I’m excited for my hair to grow out and feel healthy everyday.
I always try to be open and honest! Thanks love.
She is not prescribing anything and said to ask your doctor before stating any vitamin regimen. I think it was a well written and informative post about the vitamins she takes. She is not telling you to go get these and take them. It is merely an informative post on her blog.
I take organic multivitamins that I get from iherb.com, iron and vitamin D everyday and my hair improved ALOT since I started taking vitamins
This post is out of this world. Best blog post ever. You’re amazing at explaining things.
