Bonjour! As you probably saw from IG, I’m in France with Clarins! KB and I were in Paris for a few days and now we’re in Corsica, a beautiful Island inbetween Italy and France. It’s been a dream to wake up by the ocean and eat all the yummy Mediterranean food! A ton of you asked for my packing tips and what my travel must-haves are, so I decided to write this blog post while I’ve had some downtime to answer all of your questions!
PACKING ESSENTIALS
First off, what luggage do I use? My carry-on is the Away Carry-On in white. I love it because it’s not only affordable, but it has a built in usb charging port in case you can’t find a plug at the airport (you can easily eject it when you check your baggage or if an airline has different regulations!) I also really love the Calpak luggage too (pictured below)! For toiletries, I always use a clear bag because I like to see what’s inside (TSA likes this too). I pack all my makeup in a big makeup bag (I’ll go into details about my travel makeup go-tos below). Any other small things, like my jewelry or sticky boobs, go in my cute Pop & Suki monogram makeup case.

MAKEUP
My secret to packing my makeup for traveling is to only take what you need and what you know already works for you because space is limited in your luggage! I only brought the Armani Luminous Silk foundation because it’s great for everyday or building at night for fuller coverage. For bronzer, I brought my Chanel Healthy Glow Bronzer for adding subtle definition. For blush, I picked the Laura Mercier Color Infusion Powder Blush to give me a French girl rosy cheek. The lipstick I’ve been wearing nonstop on this trip is the Clarins Joli Rouge Velvet in 761V Spicy Chili and for daytime the Clarins Lip Oils! And of course, I brought along my Persona Cosmetics favorites because they are the best for traveling. The Identity Palette is perfect for creating a ton of different looks no matter how long you vacation for. I also packed my Cali Glow highlighter in Zuma and my two favorite Matte Lip Shades— OG and Holy Grail! Some more of my favorite makeup to travel with is linked below!
SKINCARE
Now for skincare. Again, I try and only bring things I know I love and that work well with my skin. My number one must have is the jade roller. After an 11 hour flight, my face is always super puffy. To help with lymphatic drainage, I make sure to wash my face (I packed the Philosophy Purity Cleanser) and jade roll the second I get to the hotel. Traveling also makes my skin extra dry, so I like to bring my Clarin’s Double Serum and my La Mer Cool Gel Cream. Both work to restore that much-needed moisture to my skin! I also bring my TSA-friendly Summer Friday’s Jet Lag Mask because it’s super hydrating. After moisturizing I always have to put on a sunscreen (even if it’s a gloomy day)! I brought the Clarins Anti-Pollution SPF 50 sunscreen.
WHAT’S IN MY TRAVEL TOTE
- Hand sanitizer & antibacterial wipes– because germs are everywhere.
- Hand lotion– I get super dry on flights and while traveling
- Lip balm– a must to keep with you at all times
- Face wipes– to refresh my face when I’m in flight.
- Portable charger– saves me when I’m out and about. My phone is always dying.
- Nuun Immunity– I love these tablets to boost my immunity when I travel. They have tons of vitamins and antioxidants!
- Magazines– necessary reading material while I wait to board!
- Headphones– for all that good in-flight entertainment
- Silk pillowcase– I like to bring my own pillowcase because I’m crazy and this one is gentle on your hair and doesn’t absorb your skincare products.

Thank you Mia!
I love to travel with my Beats headphones, adult coloring books (don’t judge me ?) & my neck pillow.
Neck pillow is a must! I should definitely add that!

I always carry on my agenda (personal size) and any medications so they won’t get lost forever if my checked luggage disappears!!
That’s a great tip Emily!!

Great tips! I haven’t had a vacation in years but these are great for when I travel for my work conferences – although my makeup picks are usually much more boring!

On my way to LA for the first time tomorrow!!!!! Helpful tips for tonight!
I have some of the items included and some I will have to repurchase, overall this is a great blog post and it came in perfect time as I have a trip coming up!! ❤️??
I am always looking for packing tips! I spend hours trying to consolidate my beauty items. I recently started carrying a face cream (Embryolisse lait creme concentre) in my travel tote . . . I layer it on before and after I get on the plan and it helps so much with flight dehydration.
